Remote, United Kingdom Perspective Financial Group Ltd Full time £60,000 - £80,000 per year

Reporting directly to the Regional Director and working closely with the regional team, you will support incoming acquisitions to embed with our processes, as well as work closely with advisers and office principals to promote and encourage organic growth.

You will have detailed knowledge of the IFA sector, ideally with previous financial planning experience and, therefore, able to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks. Previous evidence of business development is essential, and experience of integrations of acquisitions/change management desirable.

Office: Perspective Financial Group Limited

Location: Home Based (travel will be required)

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm with a one-hour break (35 hours)

Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience and qualifications (available upon request)

Job Requirements

  • Roll-out of business development strategies to encourage organic growth amongst offices in the group by maximising new clients wins and minimising existing client losses.
  • Work with advisers and office principals to establish connections within the professional market and encourage new client referrals.
  • Ensuring that the vendors and where appropriate, the target's advisers are fully appraised in respect of the firm's CIP, known as Cambridge Investments and understand the benefits and how to confidently discuss the CIP with clients.
  • Compare the firm's current CIP to Cambridge, which includes liaising with the Reg team to discuss their findings from DD, and a detailed comparison of performance – an analyst will assist with this.
  • Manage client relationships and maintain competency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and maintain competency as a practicing IFA.
  • Assist vendors with the completion of our master spreadsheet which is used to allocate the firm's clients to the most suitable advisers and prepare LOA's/Client Agreements – it is essential that this is 100% accurate.
  • Assist the integration team as and when required, including monitoring progress and providing solutions for potential bottle necks, ensuring minimal disruption to client service and regulatory standards being met.
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure that they fully understand Perspective's offering and provide them with responses to the vendors DD on Perspective, including details of vendors from previous acquisitions and answers to general queries they have raised.
  • Support the effective adoption and adherence to Group working practices.
  • Oversight of compliant and timely delivery of MiFID II ongoing service reviews, following Perspective's tried and tested process of using a pre-defined suite of documents and process on IO to generate MI.
  • Keep abreast of new industry developments and research the market to ensure that knowledge is current.
  • Keep up to date with financial products and legislation and comply with all industry rules and regulations.
