Job Description

Home Instead - Lincoln is expanding its fantastic care team and is looking for caring, compassionate Care Assistants to help with elderly care and to support adults living at home with a range of needs throughout the local area.

We currently have flexible Part Time roles available. We're looking for Care Assistants who may already have experience as a Support Worker or in Domiciliary Care or those without experience looking to become a Care Assistant as full training and ongoing support will be given. You are never alone with Home Instead

At Home Instead, we really value our Care Assistants and offer the following pay and benefits:

  • £13.75 per hour on Saturdays & Sundays
  • £24.50 per hour on Bank Holidays
  • Paid Travel/Wait Time in between visits - Additional to the hourly rate

Being a Care Assistant means you need to be adaptable, and personable but ultimately put others first. Your role may include:

  • Companionship
  • Helping with personal care
  • Helping with mobility around the home
  • Overseeing medication and providing support
  • Helping with housework such as light cleaning and vacuuming
  • Preparing and cooking meals
  • Helping with errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions
Qualifications

No experience is required for this position as full training and ongoing support will be given.

Additional Information

Care Assistants will have a Valid UK Driving License (with access to a vehicle for work purposes) Care Assistants must have the Right to Work in the UK. We unfortunately do not offer sponsorship.
