Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated individual to manage the daily operations of Ameina Centre, ensure projects and activities are well run and the Centre remains a welcoming and vibrant space for local residents and all service users. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community development and capable of working independently.

Duties - Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure health & safety compliance.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and administrative processes.
  • Recruit and support staff and volunteers.
  • Develop and deliver community programmes and events.
  • Build partnerships with local organisations and stakeholders.
  • Monitor performance and prepare reports for funders and the board.

Experience

  • Skills & Experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Experience in budgeting and managing teams.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings/weekends.
  • Background in community development or similar roles (3+ years).
