Looking to step up your mechanical engineering career in a process-driven environment?
At BakerHicks, we're expanding our Process team and are looking for a Mechanical Process Engineer who wants hands-on exposure to complex pharmaceutical and manufacturing projects, not just another desk-based design role.
This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging facilities where precision, compliance, and innovation really matter.
What you'll be doing
• Producing mechanical designs, specifications, and technical reports for process equipment and environments
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver fully integrated design solutions
• Contributing to concept and detailed design stages for manufacturing and process plants
• Applying OEM standards to ensure effective equipment integration and performance
What we're looking for
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• A strong technical foundation with a genuine interest in process environments
• Experience or understanding of OEM standards and equipment integration
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Eligibility to work permanently in the UK without sponsorship
Why BakerHicks?
You'll gain exposure to high-value, technically complex projects, supported by experienced engineers who are invested in your development. We offer clear progression, ongoing professional development, and a structured path toward Chartered Engineer status, making this an ideal next step after a graduate scheme.
