Your Role
Join TrustFlight as a Junior Software Engineer and become part of our mission to revolutionize aviation through innovative software solutions We are looking for an ambitious, high-energy, highly motivated Junior Software Engineer with strong software fundamentals and a genuine excitement for learning, building, and solving problems. You don't need deep expertise in any particular programming language. We value curiosity, grit, and great foundational thinking above all else.
This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys collaborating with others, and is eager to grow into a versatile, well-rounded engineer.
What You'll Be Doing
- Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of new and existing software features.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to learn best practices and grow technical capability.
- Participate in code reviews and team design discussions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across various parts of the system.
- Assist in improving internal tools, development workflows, and automation.
- Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Work within our technology stack, which includes, .NET, TypeScript, , React, SQL Server, GCP, Azure, etc.
- Bring high energy, curiosity, and a willingness to take initiative in projects and team activities.
What you'll bring
Core Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline from a reputable university.
- Strong grasp of software fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, complexity basics, and problem-solving.
- High motivation, strong work ethic, and a proactive, energetic approach to learning and contributing.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with version control concepts (e.g., Git) and basic development workflows.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and receive feedback constructively.
- A genuine enthusiasm for technology, engineering, and building things that matter.

Location:
This role will be based out of our office in London. This is an on-site role with room for flexibility, because we know life doesn't always fit a 9-to-5 mould.
