Pay: £20.00 per hour

Hours: Minimum 10 guaranteed hours per week, typically 20+, with more available in high season

We are looking for a hands-on, reliable person to manage and care for our Exmoor site, ensuring that each guest experiences a perfect stay from start to finish.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, combining housekeeping, site management, and light maintenance. This is a freelance position suited to someone organised, practical, and confident working independently in a rural setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare up to five luxury cabins per changeover day
  • Monitor bookings through our booking system and plan changeovers efficiently
  • Manage laundry collections, deliveries, and stock levels of cleaning and guest supplies
  • Ensure guests have sufficient logs, kindling, and firelighters for their stay
  • Conduct monthly stocktakes and report usage to head office
  • Receive and unpack deliveries
  • Oversee small maintenance and repair tasks, and coordinate trades when required
  • Support with ad-hoc requests from our operations team
  • Act as the company's on-site representative, solving problems calmly and professionally
  • Carry out basic safety and compliance checks, reporting any issues
  • Respond to occasional guest callouts or emergencies outside normal hours

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or site management
  • Confidence managing tasks independently and maintaining high standards
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working outdoors and driving an off-road vehicle between cabins (training provided)
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and happy to take ownership of your site
  • Based locally or within easy reach of Molland, Exmoor

  • General or trade-specific maintenance such as plumbing, electrics, or carpentry
