Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support the operational needs of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Duties

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
  • Carry out general site maintenance and cleanliness to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople as needed.
  • Operate basic machinery and tools safely under supervision.
  • Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving items as required.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations on site to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a labouring or carpentry role is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and taking on responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with health and safety practices in a workshop environment is preferred.
