Job Purpose:

In this role, you will be supporting in dealing with financial transactions, including sales invoicing, inputting month-end journals onto accounting software and reconciling balancesheet reconciliations to ensure their accuracy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process Import Freight and Duty Cost Allocations for UK & Sweden
  • Process month end journals in preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Oversee bank reconciliations for UK and Swedish company
  • Oversee reconciliations and journals for petty cash and vouchers
  • Preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in maintaining monthly overhead analysis reports
  • Preparation of VAT returns and EC Sales
  • Overseeing employee expenses payment runs
  • Prepare intercompany recharges
  • Providing cover and ensuring all Sales Invoices are actioned promptly
  • Manage company cars details
  • Complete P11Ds and submit to HMRC
  • Assisting with Year End audits
  • Be able to respond to financial queries both internally and externally.
  • Complete Prepayments on a monthly basis
  • Making bank payments
