What is the job role?
Coundon Primary School are looking to recruit a Casual Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant who can step in to cover any absence. The role when in will be to supervise and safeguard our children at lunchtime to ensure a safe and fun lunchtime break,

The role of the Lunchtime Supervisor is to be responsible for securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the lunch break in accordance with school procedures and practices.

We are looking for someone who can be flexible working alone and as part of a team to:-

  • Provide care and supervision of children;
  • Assist children with developing eating skills;
  • Actively encourage safe and creative play;
  • Have a professional and confident approach to work.

Interviews will take place week beginning Monday10th November 2025

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
