  • Plumbing and heating engineer required for rarely available open position
  • McRoberts Plumbing & heating is a family run company based in Kilmarnock East Ayrshire. We require a plumbing and heating engineer for upcoming start. Applicant must have CCN1 & CENWAT gas qualifications as a minimum and ideally have completed an apprenticeship in plumbing.

Ideally we're looking for an all rounder who can install boilers as well as carry out service and repair work although for the right candidate with one preferred skill set we can offer either a service and repair or installation role, all applicants considered. Any candidate with either commercial, F- gas or Oftec qualifications and experience would have an advantage in securing a role with us.

38 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8.30 am & 5.00 pm, overtime available, 29 paid holidays a year, competitive salary, pension available, van for business use and travel to and from work, mobile phone with diary app and uniform provided. Applicant must be clean and tidy in appearance, reliable, be self motivated, punctual, have a current UK driving licence, work well with others and have good customer service skills. Workload will be serving private and commercial clients in Ayrshire and south side of Glasgow.
