Here at GXO, we are on the lookout for a
Warehouse
Systems Administrator
to join our team at our
Wellingborough
site, supporting our customer, VMO2. You will provide first line support to the operation in dealing with a range of system and process related issues.

This is a full time, permanent position and working
any 5 out of 7 days, rotating between
6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to
£32,000
per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Support the operation with system issues and technical knowledge
  • Escalate issues to correct teams, that cannot be resolved in-house
  • Investigate ad-hoc issues and provide solutions
  • Resolve queries highlighted from the operation and the customer
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support Systems related projects.
  • Complete and build new or one-off reports as required by the operation and the customer

What you need to succeed at GXO
:

  • Previous experience with WMS systems, DLX knowledge would be an advantage
  • SQL Query and report writing skills advantageous, but training will be provided
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High level of general IT knowledge this includes radio data terminals, printers, PCs
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
