Purpose of the Role

  • The Procurement Data Analyst Apprentice role will work alongside the Procurement team to provide data analytics support with the goal of discovering useful information, solving problems and supporting the business to make informed decisions in line with the Sika UK strategy. You will be involved in the daily operational requirements, developing insight and knowledge of Procurement process and procedures. This role will be a mix of office based and home working and will involve interacting with a number of stakeholders at all levels within the business (UK and Europe).

The Skills

  • Joining the Procurement team will give you an insight into a strategic and key business function who are managing a significant amount of spend.
  • This role will run with the CIPS professional accreditation (Level 4 - Diploma in Procurement and Supply).
  • Additionally, Negotiation and Project Management skills will be developed and nurtured as this is a key part of being successful within Procurement.

  • A qualification in Data Analytics (Desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communicator and Influencing Skills
  • Commercial Experience
