Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using practice management software.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to patient enquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required.
  • Handle administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and processing payments.
  • Confirm upcoming appointments and send reminders to minimise no-shows.
  • Assist with the organisation of patient correspondence and follow-up communications.
  • Ensure the reception area remains clean, organised, and professional at all times.

Experience

  • Previous office or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Familiarity with basic computer programmes and practice management software is advantageous. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £16,380.00 per year

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
