Madame Suzie has space for hire for a Nail Technician and chairs available for hire for a Hairdresser.

Suzie's Studio is situated in Clapton, Hackney, London E5 in the middle of the busy shop parade and just a few minutes walk from Clapton Station.

£150 for a week or

£100 for Friday and Saturday.

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty salon.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for enhancing clients' appearance and providing exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where creativity and attention to detail are highly valued. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail treatments, fostering client relationships, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

  • Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art
  • Apply makeup as requested by clients to complement their overall look
  • Ensure all tools and workstations are kept hygienic and well-maintained in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Provide personalised consultations to recommend suitable nail treatments and colours
  • Maintain accurate client records and appointment schedules
  • Deliver excellent customer service by creating a relaxing and friendly environment
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in the beauty industry
  • Promote salon services and retail products to maximise client satisfaction and sales

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within the beauty industry
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients in English
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Ability to perform makeup application when required to enhance client satisfaction
  • Organised with good attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene and quality
  • Valid certification or licence in nail technology (where applicable) is preferred but not essential for all roles
  • A passion for beauty, creativity, and continuous learning in the latest trends and techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.00-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
