Your Role in Our Organisation: This exciting role as a Maths Tutor will see you engage in delivering comprehensive maths education and support at our Wednesbury Training Centre. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate mathematics learning that aligns with our high teaching standards. Your flexibility and readiness to foster a dynamic learning environment are crucial.

Key Responsibilities of a Maths Educator
  • Deliver exceptional maths education (Functional Skills & GCSE) to diverse student groups.
  • Mark and evaluate student assignments, providing insightful feedback for improvement.
  • Maintain excellent student attendance and retention, actively addressing absences.
  • Ensure student wellbeing and adhere to safeguarding standards, promoting British Values.
  • Plan and conduct engaging group training sessions adhering to required standards.
  • Administer student assessments, reviews, and mock exams, supporting qualification readiness.
  • Provide administrative support, adhering to documentation standards and internal guidelines.

  • Experienced: Skilled in teaching Functional Skills and GCSE Maths.
  • Adaptable: Able to adjust to different teaching environments and meet student needs.
  • Engaging: A confident communicator with effective rapport-building skills.

  • Flexible: Prepared to provide necessary support across our centre when required.
Essential Skills and Characteristics
  • Proven ability to facilitate effective group training sessions.
  • Thorough understanding of student needs and effective intervention strategies.
  • IT proficiencies relevant to teaching and administrative tasks.
  • High motivation, innovative problem-solving, and a results-focused mindset.
