Urology and Critical Care

Urology and Critical Care (UCC) is an established and trusted partner in urinary healthcare, developing complete solutions which optimize the urine drainage process in the Acute Care Hospital setting.

About the role

As Clinical Nurse Specialist you willdeliver high-quality continence and urological care across diverse settings, including patients' homes, clinics, and NHS hospitals. The position combines direct clinical support with a strong focus on education, helping to build confidence and competence among healthcare professionals. Working as part of a collaborative nursing team, you will provide both in-person and remote care that is tailored to individual needs and grounded in evidence-based practice. Flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement are key to success in this role.

Main responsibilities will include:
  • Deliver continence and urological care in homes, clinics, and care settings, ensuring each patient receives personalised, high-quality support.
  • Provide clinical guidance through both face-to-face and remote consultations, maintaining continuity and responsiveness.
  • Conduct Appliance Use Reviews (AURs) in line with internal policy, ensuring appropriate product use and patient benefit.
  • Facilitate hands-on training for healthcare professionals, promoting best practice and clinical confidence.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation across all systems, supporting safe and effective care delivery.
  • Mentor junior colleagues, contributing to their development and promoting safe, evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with referrers and local health teams to support service continuity and development.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
About you
  • Registered Nurse with active NMC registration and a strong foundation in patient-centred care.
  • Experienced in continence and urological care, with the ability to adapt across clinical environments.
  • Skilled in mentoring, coaching, or training others, with a passion for sharing knowledge.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Committed to ongoing professional development and maintaining up-to-date clinical skills.
  • Proficient in written documentation and able to uphold regulatory and organisational standards.

Salary range for the role: £48.000 to £ bonus + benefits
