We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated Junior Merchandiser to join our UK team, based in our showroom in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a start-up business from launch in the UK which will expand on its strong record of running successful events in London, Paris and Milan.

Role And Responsibilities
As the Junior Visual Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the visual presentation of our showroom. Operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will report directly to the Showroom Manager, collaborating closely with account managers to ensure seamless integration of our VM strategy into every aspect of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development: Spearhead the creation and execution of comprehensive visual merchandising and display strategies for the showroom.
  • Standards and Guidelines: Manage and uphold VM standards and guidelines, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing environment that effectively communicates our brand narrative to both the team and customers.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with evolving merchandising trends relevant to the showcased brands, implementing adjustments as needed to maintain a contemporary and captivating presentation.
  • Team Training: Providing training sessions, particularly for temporary staff, ensuring the successful implementation of your strategic vision throughout the week.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Offer valuable insights on zoning strategies based on customer journey and buying behaviour, optimising the overall customer experience.
  • Event Readiness: Collaborate with the team to ensure timely setup for events, contributing to the overall success of each occasion.
  • Prepare a pre-sale slideshow outlining your VM ideas and expectations, providing a clear guideline for the team to follow.
  • Brand Partner Engagement: Conduct informative site visits to brand partners, gaining valuable insights into their VM strategies to further enhance our own.
  • Pre-Opening Preparation: Dedicate time before showroom opening to meticulously organise the visual merchandising setup, ensuring a polished and inviting atmosphere for customers.
