We're recruiting on behalf of a leading UK medical equipment service organisation for an experienced and motivated Ultrasound Technician to join their technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual to carry out preventative maintenance, repairs, and customer support across the UK for a respected multi-vendor service provider with full transducer repair capabilities.

  • Up to £30k
  • Full-time, permanent role
  • Working hours Monday to Friday
  • Office based but UK travel is required to client sites
  • Company vehicle provided

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ultrasound systems and transducers
  • Diagnose faults and complete Level 1 transducer repairs, including lens, cable, and connector work
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers and internal teams
  • Produce service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
  • Support service engineers with ad hoc repairs and equipment logistics
  • Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards (ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO13485)

Skills and Experience:

  • Technical background in medical or electronic equipment maintenance
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and stay away as needed
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
