We might have a job for you as a German teacher. 

Some details about the course:

  •  One of our clients in Cambridge would like to have one-to-one GENERAL German classes.
  • This student wishes to have classes at your office/home or public place in Cambridge.
  • She would like to have a 30-hour course.
  • Classes of two hours should be held once per week on Sundays, any time from 13.00 onwards, and she wishes to start by the end of November or early December.
  • Estimated Current Language Level: Advanced.
  • Motivation: I learnt German at school, including for my A-levels. However, I didn't practice/maintain German for several years because I don't use German in my working life. For the last two years or so, I have been making an effort to learn it again and have also attended a couple of short German courses in Vienna. I am motivated to learn because I think it is a shame to lose a language skill, particularly one that was acquired when young. I recently scored Level 7 on a Berlitz test, it would be nice to work.
  • Student's age group: D: 35-44.
  • Aspect of the language mostly interested in? I'd like to work on all 4 skills, but perhaps an emphasis on speaking and writing.

Ideal teacher should:
  • Be a native German speaker OR hold a teaching degree
  • Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
  • Have a valid working visa
  • Live up to 20 miles from the client's location.

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client's availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position, and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
