The Role:
The Finance team is central to every decision and event at Formula E, making this a high-impact, high-visibility role. As a Senior FP&A Manager, your work will be integral to the organisation, requiring the highest standards of quality and timeliness, with significant exposure to senior Executives and C-Suite level management.

You will act as the crucial Finance Business Partner for multiple departments across the organisation and the global races in the Championship. This role is the vital link between Finance and the Business, ensuring that commercial strategies are financially sound and tightly controlled. You will report directly to the VP, Finance and will also take on the responsibility of managing two direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Guardianship & Forecasting:
Take co-ownership of the Budget and Long Range Plan processes. Lead budget control and financial forecasting for all your allocated departments and race locations.

Business Partnering:
Act as the dedicated finance go-between, collaborating with non-finance business leaders to drive excellent economic outcomes and provide essential financial guidance.

Insight & Analysis:
Prepare high-quality financial and business-related analyses, including leading the financial assessment for new city business cases. Deliver insightful dashboard reporting, including detailed variance analysis.

Reporting & Presentation:
Create, manage and deliver compelling presentations on budgets, dashboards and ad hoc analyses for senior management.

Process Management:
Ensure the timely and accurate execution of the month-end close for allocated business areas, including reviewing the work of your direct reports.

Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor two direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

What we're looking for in you:
Accounting:
Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or ACA with few exams remaining).

Experience:
Prior FP&A experience is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills:
Exceptional Excel/Google Sheets skills. Strong technical accounting and system knowledge (SAP Business ByDesign desirable).

Analytical:
Exceptional analytical skills for high-volume data (transactional and high-level).

Soft Skills:
Strong communication, adaptable presentation skills, problem solver, and collaborator.

Environment:
Ability to thrive in a high-demand, fast-paced setting.

Ability to travel internationally is required for this role.

This is a hybrid role and you'll be required to do 3 days a week in our Hammersmith London office
