An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal to join our team. The role will largely involve supporting one solicitor across different aspects of the business.

Our work touches almost every aspect of the housebuilding process from buying and selling land to appointing consultants to design our sites, engaging contractors and resolving issues for customers. When disputes occur, we roll up our sleeves and seek to manage the dispute effectively allowing the business to get on with building much needed homes.
Our people are based at the Addlestone office but generally work remotely and travel where needed to deliver the service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Paralegal position is open to all applicants who are eligible to qualify as a Solicitor.
The full-time role will include, but not be limited to:
- Using legal knowledge to carry out legal research
- Utilising research to plan approach and strategy
- Providing relevant legal advice to Divisional clients
- Supporting Divisional clients by drafting legal documentation (NDA's, appointments, warranties and contracts)
- Dealing with insurances with broker support
- Carrying out property title reviews
- Proving Building Safety Act 2022 advise including Landlord Certificates
- Providing bespoke training to Divisions on legal
Experience, Qualification and Skills:
We are looking for people to join our Company who can demonstrate preferably all of the below:
- 8 GCSEs, including mathematics & English - grade B or above (or equivalent) or grade 7 or above for those attaining qualifications in 2017 or afterwards.
- 3 A Levels (or equivalent) - minimum grade B
- A qualifying law degree with a minimum 2:1 completed in the last 2 years; or
- a non-law degree minimum 2:1 and a pass on a post-graduate diploma in law (PGDL) or equivalent qualification with a commendation or distinction (where applicable) also taken in the last 2 years.
Candidates with previous relevant work experience are preferred and you may be required to demonstrate previous relevant work experience and/or complete an admissions test. The successful candidate will undertake a DBS check before joining and must have a permanent right to work in the UK.
Candidates living outside of the UK will not be considered for this role
