IN SHORT
This role focuses on executing short-term foreign exchange trades across major currency pairs, leveraging market insights and technical analysis to maximize profitability. You will manage the FX risk associated with our energy trades as well as trading G10 currencies on a proprietary basis.

What Will You Do
Trading major, minor and cross currency pairs by building strategies based on market conditions. Monitoring global eceonmic indicators, central bank policies and geopolitical events which impact FX markets, you will trade to manage internal FX risk as well as proprietary trading. In addition you will;

  • Monitor short-term and medium-term technical signals to generate actionable trading ideas.
  • Maintain rigorous risk management, including stop-loss placement, exposure monitoring, and dynamic trade adjustment.
  • Understand and utilise evolving charting methodologies, technical tools, market microstructure trends, and trading technology.
  • Collaborate with research, risk management, and technology teams to enhance trading models and improve execution quality.
  • Apply technical and quantitative analysis to identify trading opportunities.

What Will You Bring
Several years prooven experience of trading FX markets (focus on G10), with a basis of technical short term strategies. Your strong understanding of currency markets and macro econmonic drivers is key for success. In addition you will have:

  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions with disciplined risk control.
  • Proficiency in trading platforms and advanced charting software.
  • Strong command of charting techniques, technical indicators, pattern recognition, and price-action theory
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, and ability to synthesize complex market information quickly
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical views to the broader team in a non technical manner
