Job Purpose
Purpose of this job is to work within our current Control panel design team and be responsible for project designs and client interactions.

JobResponsibilities

  • Designanddevelopelectrical,instrumentation,control,andautomationsystemsforwaterandwastewater treatment projects, ensuring designs meet technical and regulatory standards.
  • Supportthedevelopmentofcontrolstrategiesforwatertreatmentprocesses,ensuringproper instrumentation and control system functionality.
  • Collaboratewithcivil,mechanical,andprocessengineerstoensureEICAsystemsarefullyintegratedinto the overall project design.
  • Produceandreviewtechnicaldocumentationforelectricalandcontrolsystems,includingspecifications, functional descriptions, and equipment schedules.
  • Providetechnicalsupportduringconstructionandcommissioningphases,ensuringthatEICAsystemsare installed, tested, and operated according to design specifications.
  • ConducttechnicalreviewsofPaneldesignstoensurecompliancewithclientrequirementsandindustry best practices.
  • Workwithprocurementteamstodeveloptechnicalspecificationsforelectricalandcontrol equipment, assisting in vendor evaluations and selection.
  • Ensuredesignsadheretosafetystandardsandregulatoryrequirements,withafocusonelectricalsafety and automation security.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in Control panel design, automation, and water treatment systems

Experiencerequired

  • 2-5yearsofexperienceinEICAdesignengineering,ideallywithinthewaterorwastewaterindustry.
  • Experienceindevelopingelectricalandcontroldesigns,andI/Oschedules.
  • Familiaritywithindustrystandardsandregulatoryrequirementsrelatedtoelectricalsafetyandcontrol system design.
  • Experiencewithelectricaldesigntools,controlsystemprogramming(PLCs,SCADA),and instrumentation.

EssentialQualifications

  • BachelorsdegreeinElectricalEngineering,ControlSystemsEngineering,orarelateddiscipline.

DesirableQualifications

  • Some previous experience with Eplan design software
