Job Overview

Fantastic opportunity Monday to Friday only no weekends. 1 week off over Christmas. We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept in the use of both hand tools and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring that vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, providing our customers with safe and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
  • Perform repairs and replacements on various vehicle components, including engines, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle, including parts used and time taken.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous professional development.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various vehicle systems.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
