ACTIVE DAY CAMPS – NETBALL SPECIALIST
Active Day Camps are a well-known Children's Activity Provider across North and South West London. ADC run multiple provisions such as Holiday Camps, Specialist/Wraparound After School Clubs, Football & Netball Clubs and Birthday Parties.
Active Day Camps aim to provide inclusive and specialist activities for children aged 3–12 years, offering a wide choice of sports, arts & crafts, drama, and enrichment activities within a structured framework.
Overview of the Role:
Active Day Camps are recruiting an enthusiastic and reliable Netball Coach to lead engaging after-school Netball clubs in High Street Kensington, Kensal Green & Hampstead. This role is pivotal in creating a fun, inclusive and structured learning environment for children, supporting their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of netball
- Tuesday: High Street Kensington, Netball Club 3:15 – 5pm, followed by support in the general after-school club until 6:00pm.
- £40 flat rate for netball club.
- Hourly rate paid for additional after-school club work (5–6:00pm).
- Wednesday: Kensal Green Netball Club 3:15–4:30pm.
- £30 flat rate for netball club.
- No further hours required
- Optional: Opportunities to work in other after-school clubs throughout the week, paid at the standard hourly rate.
- Sunday: 10:00am - 11:15am, Hampstead
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging netball sessions suitable for all ability levels.
- Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging strategy, concentration, and sportsmanship.
- Ensure sessions are safe, inclusive, and adapted to meet different needs.
- Build rapport with children, motivating them to develop their netball skills.
- Assist in the wider after-school club programme on Tuesdays.
- Report any safeguarding or wellbeing concerns to the Management Team.
Experience & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of netball rules, tactics, and strategies.
- Previous experience teaching or working with children (desirable).
- Positive, patient, and energetic approach.
- Enhanced DBS check (ADC can process if required).
- First Aid Certification desirable (training can be provided).
