ELV Car Depollution and Dismantler (Car Mechanic)

have an exciting opportunity for an End of Life (ELV) Car Depollution and Dismantler who has experience as a car mechanic to join our scrap car recycling business based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

You will be part of a team of recycling professionals all committed to doing their part in environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Operating a FLT

• Understanding how to recycle parts of each vehicle

• Ensure proper documentation and paperwork for each job

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers

Requirements:

• Ability to dismantle cars

• Experience as a car mechanic

• Experience in operating a FLT advantageous

• Strong knowledge of vehicle recovery techniques and equipment

• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the spot

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Physical strength and ability to lift heavy objects
