Motor Vehicle Technician – Donalds Peterborough

The Role
Here at The Donalds Group we are recruiting for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, team player with good communication skills to join our busy workshop. We are a well-respected family run business that are passionate about our customers and thrive on offering excellent service and building a loyal client base.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake vehicle servicing and repairs, Fault diagnosis and defect rectification in line with manufacturers recommendations. We are therefore looking for someone with a strong ability to work unsupervised within time constraints.
Main Activities of a Motor Vehicle Technician
- Service vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and time
- Undertake routine maintenance of vehicles in line with manufacturers recommendations.
- Identify potential defects and worn components and report responsibly for customer authorisation.
- Identify and successfully complete warranty repairs including associated paperwork accurately.
- Work responsibly with Health and Safety in mind.
- Adhere to all codes of practice, systems of work, and processes.
Qualifications/Certification
- City & Guilds or NVQ Automotive Servicing and Repair Level 3 (essential)
- MOT licence (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Main Dealer experience (desirable)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30 and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
Salary: Competitive including bonus
