Joining Our Team
We're looking for a Health & Safety Officer to play a vital role in maintaining a safe and compliant environment across Edgbaston Stadium, the Indoor School, and Portland Road facilities. You'll be responsible for managing our Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and leading on risk management, audits, and incident investigations. The role involves hands-on oversight during match days and major events, working closely with colleagues, contractors, and partners to promote best practice, deliver training, and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of safety management.
We're seeking someone with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and practical experience in audits, inspections, and risk assessments. A NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent qualification is desirable, along with solid IT and communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You'll need to demonstrate attention to detail, integrity, and a collaborative approach while embodying our PRIDE values in your work.
