Child Care Club (CCC) Leader

Saint Joseph's RC Junior, Infant and Nursery School are seeking to appoint an excellent, enthusiastic and highly motivated colleague as the leader of our friendly before and after school Child Care Club.

Salary: Grade 5; Point 18-23 FTE £31,536-£34, Actual: £17,289.96-£19,476.08)

Hours: 23.5 per week (term time plus 1 week)

7:15am-9:00am; 3:15pm-5:45pm; plus 2 hours 15 minutes administration

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: 12:00pm Wednesday 5 November 2025

Interviews: w/c Monday 10 November 2025

Start Date: 15 December 2025

Applicants should:

  • Be someone with high expectations of pupils' behaviour
  • Have excellent behaviour management and behaviour skills
  • Be able to ensure excellence and enjoyment for all children
  • Be self-motivated and able to lead a small team of colleagues
  • Be able to organise a range of creative and stimulating leisure activities for children between the ages of 3-11 and provide a healthy snack for them.
  • Provide a secure environment for all children attending the Child Care Club through individual attention and group activities.
  • Make good relationships with parents to liaise effectively

As part of our commitment to safeguarding, the successful candidate will also serve as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, helping to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care.
