Warehouse Stock Controller
Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm
Salary - £26,000 - £29,000
We are recruiting for a Warehouse Stock Controller to join our AM Shift based at our brand new site in Castle Donington.

You will be responsible to ensure the company's stock levels meet the business needs and investigate any stock discrepancies. You will prepare the return of stock to suppliers and manage the returns from customers dealing with any anomalies and monitor out of date and damaged stock.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling any discrepancies in the event of stock anomalies.
  • Thoroughly stock check daily discrepancies from the Pick.
  • Thoroughly stock check daily discrepancies from the Replenishment.
  • To stock check and investigate incorrect SKU's stored in the racking, in locked locations.
  • Stock re-location and updating the system.
  • To investigate 'not found' stock thoroughly using the system to check history, adjustments and receipts as well as despatch trail.
  • To complete daily perpetual check.
  • Validate lot numbers and expiry dates dealing with any issues.
  • Stock return requests to suppliers and general stock queries from C/S.
  • Deal with recalls, quarantine of stock items as instructed - arranging relevant paperwork and contact with QA until collection is made.
  • Process return of goods from customers, rectify discrepancies with C/S ready for credits.
  • Deal with product file queries, pack size, code changes, case sizes where needed.
  • Preparing relevant Safety Data Sheets and arranging disposal of liquid/sharps products.
  • Liaise with Customer services, Inventory Control, Procurement and Suppliers.
  • SKU set up in SAGE WMS.
  • Respond to e-mails in a timely manner.
  • Answer internal and external phones calls when required
  • Occasional picking/packing during busy period to help other departments

What are we looking for?
This role of Warehouse Stock Controller would be great if you have experience working in a Warehouse environment and experience using SAGE software. You will demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail, thoroughness and a methodical approach to work.
