Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly proactive Human Resources/Office Manager to oversee all aspects of our organisation's HR functions and office operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing recruitment, employee relations, and administrative HR tasks, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and fostering a positive workplace environment. The role also encompasses overseeing the management of office operations, including facilities and vendor management. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an organised professional with strong communication skills to support a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational goals
  • Manage recruitment processes, including advertising vacancies, screening candidates and scheduling interviews
  • Oversee employee onboarding, training, and development programmes
  • Maintain accurate employee records using HR software and other relevant systems
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and organisational policies
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and other administrative functions related to human resources
  • Organise staff performance reviews and assist with disciplinary procedures when necessary
  • Manage the smooth operation of the office, including facilities, vendor management and health & safety matters
  • Maintain effective communication channels within the organisation

Qualifications

  • Preferably CIPD qualified, with proven experience in human resources management or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of human resources practices and UK employment legislation
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant HR packages
  • Previous experience of office/facilities/vendor management
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Used to working at pace in a vibrant and fast paced environment
  • Relevant qualifications in human resources or business administration are preferred but not essential
