Currie & Brown, a global leader in cost and project management consultancy, is looking for a
Group Tax Manager
to join our
Group Finance team in Leeds
(3 days a week in the office, with occasional travel to London).

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing our global tax operations, ensuring compliance, and driving best practice across an expanding international business.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Head of Tax, you'll oversee UK and international tax compliance, support strategic projects, and provide advisory input across the group. You'll have exposure to a wide range of tax matters in a complex, multi-region environment - ideal for someone seeking to develop their career in an international setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage UK corporate tax, VAT, and employment tax compliance
  • Oversee tax provisioning and support year-end group reporting
  • Maintain a global tax compliance dashboard
  • Provide tax advice on bids, acquisitions, and cross-border operations
  • Support transfer pricing, governance, and Global Minimum Tax initiatives
  • Liaise with regional teams, external advisors, and tax authorities

About You

  • ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (Top 20 firm background preferred)
  • At least one year post-qualification experience
  • Strong accounting knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Confident using Excel and tax software (e.g. OneSource)
