We're looking for a Showroom Sales Executive to join our friendly team at our Lancaster showroom, on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a busy, hands-on role where you'll be involved in all areas of the business throughout the week. It's a people-focused position, so you'll be chatting with customers and tradespeople every day - both in person and over the phone.

We're after someone who's organised, proactive, and keen to learn and take on responsibility. If you enjoy helping people find the right products and don't mind rolling up your sleeves, you'll fit right in

You'll be using a computer daily - mainly Sage Accounts and Microsoft Office - so it's a bonus if you already have experience with those. As most of our communication and paperwork is electronic, being comfortable with technology and confident on the phone is a must.

Customers often bring in their own measurements, so you'll need to work out quantities and do basic calculations to help them get exactly what they need.

You'll also be lifting and moving heavy items like tiles and bags of adhesive from time to time, but don't worry - full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

  • Answering a high volume of phone calls
  • Processing orders
  • Managing company emails
  • Creating and following up customer quotes
  • Stock enquiries
  • Co-ordinating deliveries and keeping customers up to date
  • Sourcing new leads
  • Maintaining the showroom stock levels and organisation
  • Assisting showroom customers

We're looking for someone with proven experience in sales and admin, a strong work ethic, and a real eye for detail. Great people skills are a must, and it would be fantastic if you also have an eye for what looks good and a genuine interest in home interiors and design.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
