Eco Systems Group Ltd is a PAS 2030 and TrustMark accredited installer delivering energy efficiency and retrofit services under schemes such as the Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS), ECO4, SHDF and other local authority programmes. Role Purpose:

To carry out the installation of cavity wall insulation using EPS bonded beads and blown mineral fibre systems in domestic and commercial properties, ensuring all works are completed to PAS 2030 standards, manufacturer specifications, and Health & Safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out cavity wall insulation installations (EPS beads and blown fibre) in accordance with PAS 2030 / KIWA / BBA-approved systems and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Conduct pre-installation checks, including cavity inspection, borescope surveys, moisture checks, and identification of obstructions or defects.
  • Ensure safe setup of works including access, drilling patterns, PPE, and site protection.
  • Operate and maintain insulation blowing equipment (pumps, compressors, hoses, bead tanks) safely and effectively.
  • Mix and inject bonding agents for EPS bead systems as per technical data sheets.
  • Record all installation details, photographs, and completion documentation for compliance submission.
  • Report any issues such as damp, structural defects, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations, including working at height, manual handling, PAT testing, asbestos awareness, and use of face masks and protective clothing.
  • Maintain a clean and professional site at all times, ensuring customer property is respected.
  • Carry out post-installation sealing, vent reinstatement, and cosmetic finishing.
  • Attend toolbox talks, refresher training, and manufacturer updates as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience installing cavity wall insulation (EPS beads and/or blown fibre).

Familiar with PAS 2030:2019 / PAS 2035 requirements and TrustMark standards.

Knowledge of insulation machinery, bonding systems, and blowing equipment.

Valid NVQ Level 2 in Insulation and Building Treatments (Cavity Wall) or equivalent.

Full UK Driving Licence.

CSCS Card preferred.

Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, and Manual Handling certification desirable.

Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
