We are looking for a Service Technician & MOT Tester to join our friendly team at our Hyundai dealership on Bretton Way in Peterborough.

Role and Responsibilities

As a service technician working at Smiths Renault, your role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Completing scheduled servicing and maintenance
  • Carrying out basic diagnostics and repairs
  • Performing electronic vehicle health checks
  • Carrying out MOT tests
  • Working closely with the front-of-house service team to keep them updated on job progress.

Salary, Benefits, and Working Hours

The salary for this role is up to £35,000 OTE.

Standard working hours are 44.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. We are also happy to discuss flexible working arrangements that work for both you and us.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a fully-trained, experienced motor vehicle technician, meaning you will:

  • Have a relevant technical qualification
  • Have at least 12 months of experience working in a similar role
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be comfortable using a computer
  • Have high levels of honesty and integrity, and take pride in providing excellent customer service
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and take a flexible approach to your work
  • Have a full UK driving licence.
