London N TS, United Kingdom CECOS College London Full time

About us

We're looking for a persuasive, target-driven professional who can convince employers across London to hire unemployed adults into fairly paid jobs. If you know how to sell opportunities, influence business decisions and build employer relationships that lead to real job offers, this role is for you.

For over 25 years, CECOS College London has helped people transform their lives through skills and employment. As we expand across the UK, we need someone who can drive employer demand for our jobseekers - and secure roles paying at least £13.85 per hour, rising to £14.80 from 1 May 2026. You'll also be able to strengthen your pitch with our free job-focused training, helping candidates become more skilled and work-ready before they start.

You'll operate much like a recruiter with a unique advantage: you're not selling candidates alone — you're selling candidates plus the training that makes them valuable from day one.

What You'll Do

  • Secure job opportunities from employers by actively persuading them to hire our unemployed candidates into roles paying the required minimum hourly wage.
  • Recruit unemployed adults in London who are motivated to work and ready to benefit from skills development.
  • Use CECOS training programmes to improve candidate suitability and employer confidence.
  • Achieve monthly targets for both employment outcomes and learner recruitment.
  • Build strong referral partnerships with Jobcentre Plus, housing associations, charities, community groups and local organisations.
  • Deliver confident, persuasive presentations to employers and partner agencies (in person and online).
  • Work collaboratively with delivery and compliance teams to ensure learners move smoothly from training into employment.
  • Provide concise performance updates and data reports to senior management.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in employer engagement, recruitment, sales or business development.
  • Strong track record of hitting KPIs or commercial targets.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to challenge and convert employer decisions.
  • Ability to build and sustain productive stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Confident with spreadsheets, presentations and performance reporting.
  • Full, clean driving licence.

Why Join CECOS

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonus.
  • Help unemployed people gain skills and secure genuine, fairly paid jobs.
  • Be part of a respected organisation with ambitious national growth plans.

If you're commercially minded, love hitting targets and want to help people into life-changing jobs, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply now and help jobseekers build their skills and careers.
