About The Role
State Street Investment Management is seeking a strategic and experienced leader to serve as the Global Head of Portfolio Management within our Global Fixed Income Solutions team. This executive role is responsible for overseeing activities associated with the construction, design, and implementation of fixed income portfolios, ensuring alignment with client objectives and the Firm's investment philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the portfolio management function across a diverse range of indexed fixed income strategies.
- Manage and mentor a team of indexed portfolio managers to deliver consistent investment outcomes.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align portfolio strategies with client mandates and market opportunities.
- Design, enhance and oversee global portfolio construction processes across a range of indexed and enhanced portfolio strategies.
- Engage with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to communicate investment strategy and performance.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in fixed income portfolio management or related investment roles.
- Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven leadership experience managing investment teams and delivering strong performance.
- Deep understanding of fixed income markets, instruments, and macroeconomic drivers.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence across a matrixed organization.
Preferred Certifications
- CFA designation is desirable.
