JGP Property Maintenance Ltd is a trusted local firm, covering all aspects of property maintenance, including gas, plumbing, kitchens, bathrooms, decorating, and electrical work. We are Napit certified and already have an experienced in-house electrician. Due to increasing demand, we are now looking for another qualified electrician to join our busy team.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated electrician to carry out electrical works across our varied portfolio of properties. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing company with a strong reputation and a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with current regulations and standards.
  • Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) on residential properties.
  • Work alongside our maintenance team to deliver a seamless service to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of all electrical work.

Qualifications and Certifications Required

  • City & Guilds 2365 – Diploma in Electrical Installations.
  • City & Guilds 2382 – Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS 7671: th Edition).
  • City & Guilds 2391 – Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing (or equivalent).
  • NVQ Level 3 – Electrical Qualification.
  • ECS Card.
  • JIB Gold Card (preferred).

Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience as a qualified electrician (domestic or commercial).
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Experience carrying out EICRs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
