At MBC we continue to grow and are now looking for a Power Platform Developer for a Digitalisation Project in the Financial Sector.

May Business Consulting is an international consulting firm offering advisory services in digital transformation, change management, efficiency, and control.

We follow a client-centered approach, getting fully involved in projects to proactively deliver high value-added solutions.

We have offices in Spain and the United Kingdom, and we work on international projects with financial institutions, fintechs, and startups.

About the role

We are looking for a Power Platform Developer to join a digitalisation project in a corporate financial environment. The goal is to automate manual processes and implement low-code solutions that improve business operations and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and PowerShell.

  • Integrate with Microsoft technologies such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Office 365 (SharePoint).

  • Work with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL.

  • Collaborate using tools like GitLab, GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence.

  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Apply Agile methodologies in daily work and team collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience with Power Platform tools.

  • 4+ years of experience in general IT development.

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and other integration tools.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a design-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent communication in English, both spoken and written.

  • Ability to work in hybrid and multicultural teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in financial or regulated environments.

  • Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.


Location: Madrid, Málaga, or London – HYBRID (3 days/week onsite)
