Who we are
Seraph Property Management are specialists in residential, commercial, and block management. We are currently recruiting a Site Operative to join our team at a large development in Cardiff Bay.
Overlooking the waterfront of Roath Basin and within easy walking distance of the Wales Millennium Centre, this is one of the Bay's most impressive and largest developments, comprising 7 blocks and 457 apartments.
With ongoing remediation works taking place, we are looking for a proactive and reliable individual to support the smooth running of the development. As a Site Operative, you will play a key role in assisting the site management team, ensuring health and safety standards are maintained, and helping to keep the estate safe, compliant, and well-managed.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the site team with the day-to-day running of the development.
- Assisting with monitoring contractors and providing access to different areas of the site.
- Ensuring communal and external areas remain safe, clear, and compliant during remediation works.
- Identifying and reporting any health and safety hazards or concerns.
- Assisting residents and visitors with site-related queries where appropriate.
- Carrying out routine checks of communal areas, walkways, and external spaces.
- Ensuring refuse areas are maintained and accessible for scheduled collections.
- Providing accurate information and updates to the management team.
- Assisting with ad-hoc site tasks to ensure the development runs smoothly.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a site support, facilities, or caretaker-style role desirable but not essential.
- Strong awareness of health and safety requirements, especially within live or occupied residential sites.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to use initiative.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing site needs.
