Quality Assurance Administrator
JJ Foodservice is looking for a passionate and friendly QHSE Administrator to be a part of our fast paced QHSE Team by taking proactive approach.
The perfect candidate will ensure the compliance with the companies Health & Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environmental policies while have ability to deal with multiple projects in fast paced environment.
We offer a salary of £27,400.00 per annum.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested and passionate about compliance and who is confident communicator at all levels.
We are looking for applicants who have:
- An honours degree in Food Science, Life Science, Health & Safety, or a closely related field, and/or a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a comparable role.
- A people-focused attitude with a passion for safety culture and behaviours.
- Ability to query and analyze data.
- Thoroughness and accuracy in all duties.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
- Proactive problem-solving capability, acting decisively.
- Effective management of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Authoritative decision-making after appropriate consideration.
- Effective prioritisation and resource allocation.
- Clear and impactful communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Promoting and supporting a continuous improvement based on Food Safety and Quality culture across all our sites.
- Conduct site inspections/audits, generating detailed reports for management review, and ensure compliance with company, HSE, and Quality standards.
- Manage administrative duties related to customer complaints, accident reports, Halal certification, training needs/records, investigation minutes, and supplier information, ensuring records are accurate and updated.
- Evaluate and inspect new products to ensure adherence to customer specifications and regulatory standards.
- Analyze product and process non-conformances, providing recommendations for corrective actions, including necessary modifications.
