Position Overview
The
Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation
will be responsible for providing analysis and recommendations to support Ball Beverage Packaging EMEA Supply Chain Strategy. This will include providing investment analysis, working closely with the Supply Chain Planning and Execution, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance & Growth teams.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Supports the analysis of strategic investment opportunities – from scenario analysis through to AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) preparation. This includes supply chain planning and financial analysis, using cross-functional inputs from the regional strategic capital project team.
  • Supports the long-term Strategic Planning cycle (3-5 years), working closely with and at times supporting the Supply Chain Planning & Execution team.
  • Support footprint modeling (Ball and competitors) and optimisation scenario analysis.
  • Supports the maintenance of longer-term planning models, including network optimisation and competitive advantage analysis.
  • Retrieves sales, production, inventory, and financial data from various systems and reporting tools to leverage in broader analyses.
  • Works cross functionally with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, & Growth teams to support cost-out & transformation initiatives.
  • Supports in preparation of presentations for various stakeholder groups, including Regional ELTs, O&SC Leadership Team and Global ELT.
  • Supports the preparation for Regional Strategy Meetings (RSM) and other strategic meetings throughout the year.
  • Manages regular team data maintenance, including but not limited to the footprint funnel in Excel, project financials, and recurring ELT project updates and actions.
  • Works collaboratively with the strategic capital project group and support them meeting project requirements within the proposed timeline.
  • Supports the Strategic Capital Projects Team to develop their reporting capabilities and work with other analysts to align processes across regions.

What are we looking for?

  • An analytical individual who excels in communication, organization and collaborative working.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or similar function.
  • MS Office Suite, with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Data management and visualization tools such as: PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik Sense.
  • Analyzing and drawing insights from large datasets.
  • Producing effective presentations of complex datasets
