Contract: Data Center/Lab Business Analyst
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Wakefield / Hybrid
Rate: £ a day (Deemed Inside IR35)
Reference: 19920
Immediate contract for an experienced IT Lab consultant with a mix of technical and analysis skills to work on a large programme of work for a leading Systems Integrator.

May suit a technical Data Centre resource that has moved into a BA, consultant or presales type role.

  • Interpretation, summarisation and differences identified of testing results around hardware and software
  • Liaison with end client and IT team to make sure test results are aligned
  • Daily standup meetings, with any testing updates / interesting results/test differences comparisons etc
  • Take any requirements from client and facilitate & create the setup/tests with the Technology Centre

  • Use Server spare kit setup to be able to provision already racked and ready to be powered on.

  • Experience of x86 Hardware and associated components (DELL, Lenovo, HPE, Intel)/ Servers and Network equipment

  • Experience in installation and removal of IT Equipment in IT Labs where required
  • Regularly create/review documentation shared with client, either live or as a PDF Extract. Hardware and networking processes

Need someone to be able to work flex hours if required as need to deal with team in the US.

Need to complete background checks prior to starting contract.
