Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Play Worker to join our team at Club Vale Ltd. We are looking for staff for to work either Breakfast Club am) or After School Club (2.45pm -6pm) 4/5days per week, or a combination of all. We are flexible and will consider job sharing. Based in Epsom, this role is vital in providing engaging and supportive activities for children during after-school hours and holiday clubs. Your contribution will help foster a safe and nurturing environment aligned with our mission to support family needs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage children in play
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and school staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organised activity environment.
  • Support the management team in daily operations.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages children's participation.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driving license/car driver is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies is advantageous.
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their development.
