We're looking for a talented
Senior Agency Partner (12-month contract)
who expects more from their career. Sitting within the
Agency Development
Team, this role is an exciting opportunity to help define the future of Retail Media with the UK's largest Retailer. The right candidate will play a defining role in growing our agency partnerships strategy and engagement.

You will be responsible for the strategic delivery of our agency business. This will involve you working with media agencies, brand clients, and internal teams (Product, Solutions, Media, Insights) to drive our vision to reality across the
Tesco Media Landscape
.

What you'll be working on

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive agency partnership strategy aligned with Tesco Media's commercial goals.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to agencies, offering tailored solutions that drive mutual growth.
  • Sales driven approach to exceed agency performance, managing pipeline, and revenue growth, using insights to inform future strategy.
  • Represent Tesco Media at industry events, forums, and agency meetings to enhance visibility and thought leadership.
  • Support the development of digital products and capabilities in collaboration with dunnhumby and other stakeholders.
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the agency team.

What we expect from you

  • Strong sales background that demonstrates a track record in generating incremental revenue from agencies.
  • A strategic thinker with a clear understanding of omnichannel and the wider media landscape. Retail media experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the agency landscape, major players, operating models, commercial structure, and building trade agreements and joint business plans.
  • Someone who enjoys and engages with their clients as a solutions focused partner to unlock opportunities and deliver success.
  • Relationship building with senior agency stakeholders to enable identification of agency growth areas to unlock revenue opportunities.
  • Someone capable of developing relationships with key personnel at both Tesco and relevant media agencies.
  • Passionate about sharing their expertise and collaborating with their colleagues.
  • An interest in working with stakeholders to develop digital products and capabilities to create and drive value in and out of dunnhumby.
