We're looking for a talented and organised Breakfast Chef to join our small but passionate kitchen team, crafting fresh, high-quality breakfast and brunch dishes that reflect our love for wellness, flavour, and creativity.

Our menu focuses on breakfast, brunch, lunch, sandwiches, and salads, with beautifully presented, nourishing meals made from locally sourced ingredients.

Job Summary

As a Breakfast Chef, you'll play a key role in the daily running of the kitchen—preparing and presenting a wide variety of breakfast and brunch dishes, managing prep efficiently, and ensuring everything runs smoothly whether you're working with a small team or independently.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a busy kitchen, has strong multitasking skills, and takes pride in maintaining organisation and high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook all dishes to a consistently high standard, with strong attention to presentation.
  • Manage a broad breakfast and brunch menu efficiently, ensuring smooth service even during busy periods.
  • Carry out stock checks and ensure minimal waste.
  • Complete all daily kitchen checklists and necessary paperwork accurately.
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with all food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Support the team in daily prep, deliveries, and service.
  • Work closely with management to maintain consistent quality and introduce seasonal menu ideas.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef, Commis Chef or Chef de Partie in a busy café or brunch-style kitchen.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of breakfast and brunch cookery, plating, and timing.
  • Understanding of food safety, allergies, stock management, and kitchen paperwork.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a small team.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
