This is the job

Joining the AA as Senior Pricing Analyst, you will play a key role in the development of successful risk pricing models across our motor and home insurance products. You will also be responsible for continual analysis of both our motor and home insurance products pricing models.

What will I be doing?
  • Support the Head of Pricing & Development in building and maintaining robust risk pricing models for AAUICL's home and motor products.
  • Work with the trading and underwriting teams to develop compliant and effective pricing strategies.
  • Identify, validate and integrate new data sources into models.
  • Deliver analysis and MI on a timely basis to meet deadlines.
  • Investigate and help to embed new modelling techniques where appropriate.
  • Mentor train & develop of junior members of pricing team and cross-training with wider insurance functions.
What do I need?

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Track record of working within a data rich environment utilising analytical tools and languages such as Python & SQL
  • Proven insurance experience, particularly pricing personal lines products
  • Experience in communicating complex issues to business management.
  • Highly numerate with excellent statistical skills and commercially astute.
