Duties

  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support chefs and kitchen staff
  • Ensure all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans are thoroughly cleaned and properly stored
  • Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Support with organisation of supplies and stock rotation to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to uphold hygiene standards
  • Assist with setting up dining areas and clearing tables during service periods when required
  • Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff

Experience

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering services is desirable but not mandatory

  • Experience in serving or general hospitality roles can be advantageous
