Job Title: Inventory Controller

Location: Bedford MK43

Hours: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (Rotational Shifts: 6:00am–2:00pm / 2:00pm–10:00pm)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Inventory Controller to join our team within a fast-paced pharmaceutical warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical handling standards and regulations.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and at least 1 year of experience working with inventory in a warehouse setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across all warehouse storage areas
  • Perform stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and support the resolution process
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Assist with inbound and outbound stock processes, ensuring correct documentation and labelling
  • Work closely with warehouse supervisors and quality teams to support compliance and operational efficiency
  • Ensure storage conditions and stock handling comply with pharmaceutical safety and regulatory standards (GDP/GMP)
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to stock accuracy and warehouse process optimisation

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of inventory experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Strong understanding of stock handling, stock rotation, and warehouse inventory processes
  • Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced operation
  • Comfortable working rotational shift patterns

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or regulated warehouse environments
  • Knowledge of GDP/GMP compliance
  • Forklift or MHE certification
