Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring all health and safety standards are met. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities

  • Serve a variety of beverages efficiently and courteously to customers
  • Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the till system
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
  • Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Engage with customers to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods by demonstrating good time management skills

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A professional attitude with good organisational skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as required
